Both tallow and meat and bone meal (MBM) are Carbon Neutral Energy sources
The use of MBM and tallow in Ireland will lead to an annual reduction in CO2 emissions of 507,700 tonnes
This is valued at approximately €8m and accounts for 16% of the reduction set by Government for the Emissions Trading Sector in the period 2008 to 2012.
